Cote d' Or Speculoos - 180g

Speculaas is a type of shortcrust biscuit and very popular in Holland & Belgium. Originally baked as a treat for St-Nicholas' day, those thin, crunchy little cookies, flavored with spices, are baked in long rectangular molds that form a pattern on them. They are baked year-round now. The German Spekulatius, is of the same origin and is very similar. In the  USA & Canada speculaas are often sold as Dutch Windmill cookies.
